I love the head, and the spine- the flow and angles, and ... that stuff, it's well-done, and my eyes are drawn to it.
The scale pattern for the dragon as a whole kind of reminds me neo classicist furniture, if you know what I'm referring to. Which acts as a sort of juxtaposition with the type of dragon that it is-
(I have no idea what kind of dragon it is, actually. I know that the newspaper used an asian/oriental air/flying dragon in the banner, but I don't know what this one is.)
This is kind of like that style... that the lady kept mentioning at the conference? You've been drawing in this style for awhile, haven't you?
Is this for the theme? (If it is, what was the theme that got decided? I don't remember hearing.)

It's sort of a celtic dragon, I think.
The lady called it hoolanders, but I just call it abstract or tribal tattoo art.
The theme the decided was "Dare to..." and we're going to have stuff like this through out the yearbook. They have a lighter opacity and will weave over and under the photos.
I designed another thing like this for a T-shirt, too. It's not a dragon or anything in particular, just the art. Mrs. Kidd also wants something like this on the planner, so I'm going to be busy. But it's still fun and rather exciting
